Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers everything you can buy from PreTraffic, operated by AI Quantum Ventures LLC (United States): the $99 one-time full-panel audit and the $149/month continuous monitoring subscription. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Automatic refund when an audit fails — already built in

If you pay $99 for a full-panel audit and the run does not complete, you do not keep a charge for a report you never got. This is automated, not a request process:

1. Your payment is captured and the audit starts.
2. Our system tracks the run. If the engine returns a failure, is cancelled, or the run never reaches a completed state, the order is marked failed.
3. A full refund of the $99 charge is issued automatically to the original payment method through Stripe. You do not need to email us, open a ticket, or ask.
4. Only after the refund is issued do we send the failure email, which tells you the run failed and confirms the refund is on its way.

Refunds land back on your card typically within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. If you received a failure email and no refund appears after 10 business days, email support@pretraffic.ai with your order email and we will trace it.

Related case: if we detect before payment that your store blocks all automated access and cannot be audited, we stop the checkout and never take the money in the first place.

3. $99 one-time audit — other situations

• Audit completed and the report was delivered. The product is fully delivered at that point, so completed audits are generally non-refundable.
• Something is clearly wrong with a delivered report — for example it audited the wrong site, is largely empty, or is materially broken. Email us within 14 days of delivery and we will re-run it at no cost or refund you in full. We would rather fix it than keep money for a bad report.
• You disagree with the findings. Reports are AI-generated directional insight and different panels produce different emphases, so disagreement with a verdict is not by itself grounds for a refund. Tell us anyway — it is how the engine gets better.
• Duplicate or accidental purchase. Email us before the run completes and we will cancel and refund it.

4. $149/month subscription — cancel anytime

The monitoring subscription renews monthly until you cancel. There is no minimum term, no cancellation fee, and no notice period.

How to cancel

1. Go to pretraffic.ai/portal and enter the email you subscribed with.
2. Open the magic link we email you — no password needed.
3. Choose Manage subscription, which opens your Stripe billing portal, and select Cancel plan.

If you installed PreTraffic through Shopify, cancel from your Shopify admin under Settings → Apps and sales channels → PreTraffic, or by uninstalling the app; Shopify stops the recurring charge.

If you cannot access the portal for any reason, email support@pretraffic.ai from the subscribed address and we will cancel it for you.

What happens after you cancel

• You keep full access — weekly re-runs, unlimited on-demand runs, alerts and diffs — until the end of the period you already paid for.
• At the end of that period the plan ends and no further charge is made.
• Reports generated during your subscription remain accessible at their permanent links.
• Partial months are not refunded, because you keep the service for the rest of the period.

Failed monitoring runs

Subscription runs are included in your plan rather than charged individually, so a failed run is re-queued automatically rather than refunded. If monitoring is materially unavailable for more than 7 consecutive days in a billing period, email us and we will credit or refund that period.

5. EU right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because an audit is digital content delivered immediately, by starting a paid run you expressly request that we begin performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the report has been fully delivered. Until the report is delivered, you can withdraw and receive a full refund by emailing support@pretraffic.ai. Mandatory consumer rights under German and EU law are unaffected by this policy.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a chargeback — an automatic failure refund may already be in flight. We respond to disputes with the run record and delivery evidence. Accounts with fraudulent disputes may be suspended.

7. How refunds are paid

All refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe (or Shopify Billing for Shopify installs). We cannot refund to a different card, to a bank account, or as store credit. Amounts are refunded in the original currency; any exchange-rate difference applied by your bank is outside our control. Applicable VAT is refunded with the amount.
